“To remember, one must consider that which is already known and often already revealed. As a mother of seven daughters and 10 grandchildren, I pray that my progeny will remember their relationship with their Father in Heaven and their Savior,” said Etherington. “In this painting a good father is reading the scriptures alongside his two daughters. He is inviting them to remember the things that they knew before they were born.” He reads from Psalm 77:11–12, and each word of the scripture is written on the painting.
