Looking at a microscopic view of pollen on a wildflower petal, table salt crystals, spores on a fern, and the barbs and hooks of a feather, Stay finds “evidence of a loving Creator” and sees the scientific pursuit of truth and knowledge similar to the gospel—though one is found through experimentation and the other through revelation. “In scientific discourse, images like these only further testify to me, and to those who have eyes to see, of the reality of God,” said Stay. “I witness with Alma that ‘all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it’ (Alma 30:44).”
