The Lord’s Supper depicts the iconic moment in the round. Using Chinese ink painting, Wong includes a scripture in the corner, which says, “Jesus broke bread and blessed it and gave it to His disciples, saying, Take, eat; this is my body. This do in remembrance of me. He took the cup and gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (see Matthew 26:26–28).
Explaining the topic, Wong said, “We all feel regret for mistakes we have made. His silent accomplishment allows us to be comforted and cleansed.”
