“Life is hard. Adversity abounds, and we frequently find ourselves in a world of shadows,” said Aldridge. “His love, His gift of our elevation and eventual exaltation, has already begun and is all around.” The chapels that dot the landscape where the artist lives remind him of all the blessings that come from the restored gospel. “I feel God’s love for me through the beauty around me and believe that [beauty is, as the author Mark Helprin said,] ‘God’s way of comforting his broken children.’”
