“Two children welcome a friend, who casts his shadow on a wall carved with various elements in the Mayan art style, illustrating the history of the Book of Mormon. The old and new worlds are represented by two pyramids framing two figures—Moses and Moroni. At the base, Nephi is the guide who records the history of his family. The Savior is the King who shows the marks in His hands. At His right and left, we see the celestial and terrestrial kingdoms, and Jesus points toward His Father, becoming the only pathway to celestial glory. The tablets of the law; the fish and the hummingbirds, representing death and resurrection; the twelve tribes of Israel; and the symbol of Quetzalcoatl are other elements to help express my testimony of the living Christ.”
