“This work reveals my image of the ideal temple in Japan. Actually, the form of this temple is mostly the same as the Tokyo Japan Temple. I tried to set a mood where the viewer can enjoy the Japanese-style atmosphere around the temple—cherry trees, Japanese flowers, the moon, and two cranes. Within the holy temple, I am reminded of the source of these things and of our inheritance of faith.”
