“As a full-time missionary in Nigeria years ago, I had to teach my investigators that the temple is the house of the Lord, where sacred ordinances are performed. It is indeed my great joy now to see many of these converts going into the temple as families and individuals. It is no longer a wish but now a reality. Going to the temple is now the goal of all Nigerian Latter-day Saints. It is indeed a fascinating event in the history of all Nigerians, most especially the Mormons. These facts have aroused my interest to work in African mahogany wood in a purely African relief style.”
