"This piece is a tribute to my father’s faith and the fulfillment of the Savior’s beautiful promises to give us rest in Him. When we persevere on the gospel path, we find strength and comfort in Christ. This piece shows the faith of the innumerable children of God who have gone, or are going through, physical or spiritual trials. The Son of God lovingly draws near to them to encourage, comfort, and strengthen. I hope that every person who sees this piece will see themselves, and that their hearts will feel the promise of the Savior, who said, 'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28). This work is a reminder of the greatest of all the marvels of God—the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ."
