"So often in our lives, the rush of the world takes over. As we pursue employment and schooling in an effort to provide for and build up our families, we are taken from our homes and the ones we love. My husband and I have realized that the long hours away from one another every day can be taxing on our family. Sweet are the moments we have together. We are learning—as is the family in my painting—to treasure the family unit, which we must leave the home to support. As long as we keep our eyes on our real jewels and the real wealth of our lives, the gospel will hold us together."
