"My artwork is an executed plan graded from a dark blue/black at the top to a pale yellow at a low horizon. In the sky are celestial features, including the Ursa Major constellation and clouds. A low horizon landscape features various symbolic elements—trees and water—all suspended from a structural grid system. The essential message deals with a journey that has structured underpinnings. The elements and principles of the painting that are used are reflective of the symbolic meaning that is an essential component of my artwork."
