"The announcement of the Rexburg Idaho Temple filled me with a desire to express my gratitude in artwork. After a long search to find the perfect scripture to stitch, I found a verse in 1 Kings that touched me deeply. Its message extends to those who build and serve in His holy temples: “I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually” (1 Kings 9:3). Could there be any better way to remember the great things of God than to participate in the holy ordinances of the temple? And how precious to know that our Father has put His eyes and His heart perpetually there. That is such a comfort to me as I attend my new Rexburg Idaho Temple."
