"This is an original design using symbols pertaining to Jesus Christ: menorah—symbol in the form of the tree of life; veil of the temple; sacrificial animals in each corner—bull, sheep, goat, and ram. The writing repeated four times across the top and bottom is the tetragrammaton, the Greek word meaning “word with four letters”—four Hebrew letters that correspond to YHWH. To Jews, it is the name of God, which they never pronounce. To substitute, they say “Lord” or “The Name.” To Latter-day Saints, it is the name of Jesus Christ or Jehovah. The character along each side of the piece, pronounced 'Ha Shem,' is a Hebrew abbreviation of “The Name.” This piece is a handcrafted adaptation of French quilting."
