"This painting depicts my interpretation of the Smith family farm as one might view it after leaving the Sacred Grove. Many of the greatest gifts ever revealed to mankind were given to the Prophet Joseph Smith on this sacred ground. We consider it a gift and blessing that the Church has preserved and maintained these sites so we can share in the spirit of our heritage."
