"Lehi dreamed a dream and in this dream was led to the tree of life. He tasted the fruit of the tree and was filled with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As promised by the Savior, he hungered no more, and eternal life was now within his reach. Lehi desired that his family partake also of the fruit so that they could be with Him forever. Some came and partook; some did not and turned away. Latter-day Saints today strive to fulfill this dream by working and praying to bring all of Heavenly Father’s children back into the fold. The tree is the tree of eternal life."
