"This Xiuqiu represents the Creation, as well as the greatness of God and His love for us. I had several goals in creating this work: (1) to make 12 embroidered pieces representing the 6 days and 6 nights of the Creation, (2) to put the 12 pieces together to make a Xiuqiu, (3) to add a Chinese knot, which represents good luck, and attach a tassel to the ball to complete a beautiful hanging ornament, and (4) to embroider the scripture reference and verse on another heart-shaped pouch."
