"My artwork is about three gardens of God: the Garden of Eden, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the garden of the empty tomb, where Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene. Three major events of God’s plan—the Fall, the Atonement, and the Resurrection—all happened in gardens. I have tried to identify simple symbols of each event. The forbidden fruit is used for the Garden of Eden; my forbidden fruit is a peach instead of an apple. An olive branch represents Gethsemane. The garden of the empty tomb is represented by a piece of folded linen, found in the tomb after Christ was resurrected."
