"This painting is of my daughter at Martin’s Cove. She portrays a child traveling with one of the pioneer handcart companies. Some children lost both parents and were left alone to face the many trials and tribulations that lay ahead. They had only their faith and trust in God to help them deal with the uncertainties of life. Many times we too are left alone, and the only way to get through the trials and storms that are ahead of us is by having faith and placing our trust in God."
