"An important message of the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ is “no exception of persons.” Reading, meditating, and praying about the Book of Mormon and reading it to children and praying with them helps them to know and love our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. It is important that our offspring know that they are children of God, that they have individual worth and divine potential, that God is our Father, and that we, His children, are part of His family and He loves us. He whose gospel means “no exception of persons” shows his love and concern by revealing the gospel of Jesus Christ to these children from the fields of Michoacán, Mexico, as in any other remote place, so that His children can return to Him."
