Life’s trials can make us feel that we are being “tossed about by suffering as if by surf,” said Elder Neal A. Maxwell. But with the Savior at the helm of our lives, “when the undertow grasps us we will realize that even as we tumble we are somehow being carried forward; we are actually being helped even as we cry for help.” Each layer and line of Pearson’s artistic process tells of how Heavenly Father and Jesus have helped her through her own storms.
