In this work, Johnsen portrays the Creation as a confluence—the power of God brought together with material to create. For her, this creative confluence also reminds her of two parents who bring a child into existence. Under the direction of the Father, Christ organized this and other worlds—a creative act at work on raw materials that are gathered and made beautiful.
