This painting depicts Takahashi’s personal experience of communing with God in the temple. After living a life far from religious practice, he repented and returned to the temple. While he was there, the Spirit testified that he had returned home and that he had never been left alone. The painting depicts the artist offering a prayer of thankfulness that he had been able to repent, change his life, and become aware of the aid, guidance, support, and deep love of the Lord.
