“Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,” said Elizabeth when Mary came to visit her (Luke 1:42). Such scriptures testify of the holiness of the unborn Christ, whose cousin, John the Baptist, would go before Him, baptize Him, and bear testimony of Him, even in his death. “It is essential,” said Veselka, “that we have the knowledge that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary and that His literal Father in the flesh is God the Father.”
