Contemporizing the parable of the good Samaritan, Walker’s drawing makes personal and current the call of the Savior to help those in need. This depiction of the parable asks us to look within ourselves at the daily ways we encounter opportunities to serve those in need. In this drawing, no one has yet crossed the man’s path or decided what they will do. Yet the question is ever present and is asked of each of us: Who will stop? Who will be the good Samaritan?
