Another name for Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd—a name that describes the Savior’s awareness of us and His willingness to go after those who are lost. Said Jesus, “What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?” (Luke 15:4). With Christ as our shepherd, we are sought after, we are named, and we are found in our wanderings.
