Stained and leaded glass
Stained glass has long been a medium used to communicate spiritual principles, since the time of its inclusion in both Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals. Here, the plan of salvation is laid out, with the Savior Jesus Christ as the central figure: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16). Around the Savior, moving in a clockwise direction, the journey toward the celestial kingdom is represented.
