Abundance is a repeated theme throughout Jesus’s ministry. When Jesus miraculously multiplied a few loaves and fishes to feed large multitudes, all were satisfied and there was more food than He began with. “For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance,” Jesus taught (Matthew 25:29). He introduced a spiritual economy where all can be fed and healed and where abundance replaces scarcity. For Everett, painting is also about abundance, generosity, and love.
