The mission was established as both a colonization effort and a means to proselyte among the Native Americans of the Las Vegas Springs area.
Contains a daily journal, minutes to meetings, records of Indians baptized, names of members, and an account of labor donated on public works at the Mormon colony in Las Vegas.
