A delicate bouquet including a showy dahlia and a humble dandelion rests on a blue background. "I especially wanted to include the prickly thistle," Luschin writes, "as I’ve always felt a bit like a prickly, unwanted thistle." At the bottom lies a crown of thorns and a red rose, a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice. Amazed with the beauty of those around her, Luschin remembers that Christ wants her to see beauty in herself, too.
"I need to let go of all the lies depression has held me captive with and learn to find the good in myself."
