African symbols representing knowledge and strength spill from a warm sun in the heavens, blessing the woman below. In return, grapevines (representing the Savior) grow from her hands, healing her inside as she responds with hope and faith. Diaz, an artist of African descent, felt heavy and unseen in response to the protests of 2020. "But when I prayed," Diaz writes, "I received answers to meet my concerns and lift my heaviness."
"We can receive spiritual healing and answers in the ways that are unique to our needs and our own understanding."
