Made from discarded pieces of scrap metal and corroded washers, a colorful array of abstracted figures lines up for the viewers’ appraisal. "God’s children," Ošlapas observes, "are tall and short, loud and quiet, black and white, vivacious and boring, patient at one moment and restless the next, acutely aware yet often oblivious." While we hold our dissimilarity in common, ultimately we are all God’s children.
"An individual’s divine actions of sharing, protecting, consoling, and caring are perfect expressions of God’s compassion, love, and empathy."
