Wanting to give reminders to his children, Behunin made tiles with sayings to remind them to love. Eventually those adages served as reminders to himself and others that first, loving God; second, loving others; and third, loving ourselves is the pathway to joy. In the center of the tiles is a mirror. Behunin hopes viewers will take the opportunity to examine themselves and ask, as the prophet Alma did, “Have [you] received His image in your [countenance]?” (Alma 5:14).
