Strength and determination radiate from this bust, a portrait of a Latter-day Saint woman named Kadi who, despite a difficult adolescence, serves those with a similar need. After being trafficked as a child, Kadi was rescued by United Nations workers and adopted. She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, earned a university education, and now works with the United Nations fighting human trafficking.
“Kadi is a Hawaiian woman of tremendous courage and compassion.”
