The Rising Raising

Inspired by the example of her three teenage boys, Holm sought to portray the ways young men are engaged in serving others. She is impressed that they pass the sacrament to congregants, serve their neighbors, read the scriptures and pray for those around them, serve full-time missions, and are good friends to their peers. Holm has divided the image into five scenes in which her boys’ hands are actively engaged in doing good things.
