A tender father lifts his toddler high. The baby reaches for shining fruit on a tree branch. The tree symbolizes the love of God; the fruit, the sweetness that fills one’s life as he or she partakes of God’s love. Like Lehi, a prophet in the Book of Mormon, the father seeks to share the fruit of God’s love with his child. Similarly, our Father in Heaven desires to lift us, Cragun comments, “to taste the sweet assurances of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
“We love to be lifted, and He loves to lift us.”
