Turner crocheted the woman from Nain who grieves, having lost both her husband and her only son. The woman’s eyes are cast down, and she hangs onto her black scarf while mourning their passings. Upon seeing the woman, Christ’s heart fills with compassion, and he suggests, “Weep not” (Luke 7:13). Turner notes that the Savior doesn’t wait to be asked before raising her son from the dead.
