A large star, stitched together from multicolored fabric, represents the variety of experiences and peoples one encounters in mortality. Beneath the star, large, confident hands belonging to the Savior elevate the mortal experience. Harrison photographed her family members engaged in loving service and then embroidered those images beneath. “As we see [Christ] lift,” Harrison comments, “we strive to lift in like manner, which eases our burdens, battles the darkness within and without, and strengthens our own feeble knees.”
“[Christ] lifts us to a higher and holier way of living, and in His mercy, He allows us to join Him in His work.”
