Klundt notes that three women in her neighborhood recently lost their partners. Honoring them, she creates a strong trio. These women have squared shoulders and solid feet, but their hands do seem to hang low. Thinking of the strength in a priesthood circle, Klundt asks metaphorically, “Could we in community circle closely, hands on shoulders, to strengthen each other, a second hand reaching towards the center to cradle and comfort these sisters?”
“Surely heaven will lend its powers.”
