Morris has collaged watercolored landscapes and abstract scenes from handmade inks made with materials gathered from meaningful locations. The scenes depict places Morris passed as she visited her sister who was sick with cancer. When her sister passed, Morris created this work to represent two people who come together in grief. The sacred space created from the shared mourning is crisscrossed with threads of gold connections.
