Charbonneau has cast 1,000 individual honeybees; but swarming together, they appear as one mass. Honeybees survive because they work together. President Ballard, a recent Apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, noted that over its lifespan, a honeybee contributes only one-twelfth of a teaspoon of honey to the hive. But that small contribution is valuable to the community. “It is by lifting others that we build community,” Charbonneau comments, “and through unity that we build strength.”
« C’est en prenant soin de notre prochain que nous créons une communauté, et par l’unité que nous créons de la force. »
—Etienne Charbonneau
