At first glance, the viewer sees a man who is subject to poverty and the vicissitudes of life, pleading with hands raised for money or food. Looking closer, however, the viewer sees the Savior in the man. With the phrase “inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" and two hundred names for Christ hidden in the artwork, Dan G. provides the viewer an opportunity to ponder how to serve the Savior.
“As we learn and ponder His many names, may we better understand how our Redeemer lifts us up.”
