This was a small, independent company that arrived in the valley on 28 August 1850. The only record of it is a small, handwritten note with names of heads of household who came into the Valley on two different days. It does not appear to be a complete roster and likely contains people from at least two different companies. Smith Humphrey has the letters "Cap" written next to his name so the assumption is that he was captain of his own company that consisted of at least the first five households listed on the record.
