  • Abednego and his wife and daughter (Bathsheba and Mary Jane) arrived in New York on 6 July 1866 via the ship The Arkwright. PEF ledgers misspells his name as "Abechrego." Company records indicate "A. Wilkinson" purchased  3 1/2 adult rations of food, indicating his family made the overland journey with him.
