  • Sarah and her neice, Agnes, arrived in New York on 6 July 1866 via the ship Arkwright. (Passenger list spells their family name as "Godhead.") Though only Sarah's name is listed on the overland company records, as head of household, the notation that she purchased two adult food rations indicates that Agnes was with her on this part of the journey as well. PEF records also confirm that they were together.

Birth and death dates listed were found in a personal, online family history record (such as Family Tree, Ancestry, or My Heritage), without any accompanying documentation. Further research is needed to verify its accuracy.

Both Sarah and Agnes married Henry Talbot after arriving in the Valley.
