Edward Duff
Edward sailed to America in 1852 on the ship Kennebec with Elizabeth Duff, age 50, born about 1802. We have evidence that Edward arrived in Utah, but have not been able to confirm Elizabeth's arrival. Edward's name appears in the 1852 Bishop's Report in the Salt Lake 16th Ward. He also appears in the Public Works book on 17 January 1853, and purchased land in Salt Lake City 4 February 1854. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company he traveled to Utah with, and whether or not Elizabeth arrived in Utah with him.
