  • The Bawden family began their overland journey as part of the Outhouse company. However, the Outhouse Company experienced divisiveness and for much of the way, each ten in the company traveled independently. William Lang was captain of the ten they split off with.
     
    The Bawdens shared a wagon with the Lang family.
