James Harwood
- The Harwood family began their overland journey as part of the Outhouse Company. However, the Outhouse Company experienced divisiveness and for much of the way, each ten in the company traveled independently. William Lang was captain of the ten they split off with.
Later, James participated in the effort to rescue the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming in the winter of 1856.
