Dyson Dunkerley

Facebook Twitter Print Mail
  • In the 1850 Utah census Dyson is a twenty-four-year-old, living in the household of Henry Margetts of Salt Lake City; both men were about the same age.  Henry and Dyson were also re-baptised the same day: 20 October 1850.  Margetts had crossed the plains in the 1850 James Pace Company, so it may be that Dyson did as well (there is no known roster of the Pace Company.)  According to an article in the Deseret News, 25 May 1854, "Dysen Dunkerly" was a member of the 14th Quorum of Seventy and was in California.  Henry Margetts of Salt Lake City was also a member of the 14th Quorum.
