  • Jane and her husband William sailed to America in 1853 on the ship Falcon. The ship manifest shows their surname as "Davies."

    Jane's birth date is confirmed by the England Births and Christenings, and her obituary.  Her death certificate confirms her death date and shows her name as "Jane D. Davis."

    Jane's obituary confirms her travel to Utah in 1853.  The obituary states that she came with the "Ormond" pioneer company, but she was with the "Harmon" company.
