  • William crossed the Atlantic on the ship Olympus in 1851 with his wife Harriet and their daughter Julia.  A son (William Hales Dye) was born in Missouri in 1853.  His name appears in the Salt Lake City Public Works records in 1854 and 1855. In the 1856 Utah census he and his family were living in the Salt Lake Eleventh Ward.  He died at Levan, Utah.
