  • Elizabeth crossed the Atlantic with her son Robert and her daughter Mary Ann on the ship Ellen Maria in 1853.  Their surname is spelled "Thimbley" on the ship manifest.  Mary Ann died at Keokuk, Iowa in May 1853.  Elizabeth was re-baptized at Salt Lake City on 10 November 1853 and is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah under the surname  Ashford.
